Phillip Rivers to be Exposed

Phillip Rivers opened week 1 with respectable numbers, he completed 33 of 48 passes for 335 yards and 2 TDs and was intercepted twice. But closer inspection of the pass distrubution shows something worrisome. Of the 48 passes thrown only 18 were completed by WRs and TEs. This is a huge problem considering the week 1 opponent was the Vikings. Minnesota does not have a great defense let alone a stellar secondary. If Rivers was not able to get the ball to his receivers in this game he will certainly struggle against this weeks opponent, the Patriots. Sure you're saying Chad Hene posted 4 bills on the Pats, but I doubt that the New England DBs will let that happen again and the short yards are going to be hard to rack up.
